How? Your letter is never sent to any server. Everything runs inside your browser, and the page is locked so it can’t send your letter anywhere.

What works
Works
- Photos (JPG, PNG, WebP) and PDFs, up to 8 pages
- Typed official letters from the countries above
- The latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on phones and computers
- Offline, after your first visit
Doesn’t work (yet)
- Handwritten letters, or letters from other countries
- Password-protected PDFs
- HEIC photos outside Safari — take a screenshot instead
- Old browsers that haven’t been updated for years
After your first visit, Briefly saves its text reader for your country (about 6 MB), so reading letters works offline. The translator is an extra 20–26 MB per language — save it under “Offline use” below. English letters need no translator. Everything stays on your device.

Save Briefly on your phone or computer
Open it like an app from your home screen. It works offline, and you don’t need an app store. Saving the app also saves the text reader and translator for your country (about 30 MB), so everything works without internet.
✓ Briefly is saved on this device. You’re using the app.
Reading your letter
Everything happens on your device. The first time can take a little longer.
Cancel a contract
Phone, internet, gym, streaming or insurance. Briefly works out the last day to cancel and writes the letter for you, in the language of the country.
Not for: renting a flat, a job or a loan. Those have their own rules.
